Last pic today, Maylee insisted on one with mom, then if you think Cooper would get out of the "cheese" as he calls it, your crazy!
The only pic I'm posting of the hippo in a dress. Even my hands are huge from the swelling. Yep, there is no missing me when I walk in a room. (people probably think there is a lunar eclipse-nope, just Nicole in front of the window)
Just had to add this for all of you out of state. Here is a pic of the truck with one morning worth of snow on it. If you can believe, it added several more inches before it stopped. The last of the snow just disappeared yeasterday from our front lawn.
Here is Maylee during an indoor game. She has played for two outdoor teams (one AYSO and one competition) and two indoor teams all winter. She has been a busy girl! Outdoor starts this next week for her, too. One more indoor game tomorrow. Both Courty and Maylee play for comp teams named the Warriors and both are red and white. Makes is easy for us to remember.
Maybe we are all maniacs.
Yes, I am married (ten years this year) to this maniac. At least he keeps me on my toes.
Max and Maylee helping dad in the box. Maybe Max will be another great keeper in the family!
We got a chance to go to the park this last week. The kids wanted to take some shots on dad while the weather was warmer than 32 degrees. This is Courtland in action. Her team just wrapped up their indoor season, they did awesome, especially since they were playing girls two years older because last year they creamed every team they played in their division. Outdoor season starts next week. Her team advanced to state division so lots of driving for us now but great competition. We will keep you posted on games, times, and tournaments. Go Warriors!
Max after school on the playground. Is there ever a time this kid doesn't have a smile on his face? Just a happy kid and great addition to our family!
Maylee had to do a power point on a role model, she of course chose Mia Hamm. (if you know the girls, you know they are soccer fanatics!) Here she is in her classroom giving a presentation to classmates and parents. She did a great job!
The time when I run like a wild chicken to clean up all the messes he has made while he is awake. Looks like an angel doesn't he? Boy, can looks be deceiving!
Cooper wears these rubber rain boots everywhere! Notice one is camo and one is fire engine. Why worry about a matching pair? And why is it that he never gets them on the right feet? Just in case you are wondering, that is a sack of bread over his shoulder, he carried it around all day. He's hilarious!

Consider me a follower. All my friends are doing it, now I am diving into the sea of blogs. Actually, with my family spread all over the place, I'm hoping that this will keep everyone updated on the goings on of all things Thompson. Will I find the time to keep it updated? We will see. Hopefully it won't go the way of all my Christmas cards, into storage for next year. I think it will be a great way for everyone to see the baby, too. (if he ever gets here, it seems this is the longest and biggest pregnancy of all time!) In fact, Max told me this week: "Mom, I know you are fat, but I still think you are skinny. I remember what you look like when you are skinny." Nothing like your kids to set you straight. Well, I'm going to figure out how to post pictures so you can see the cute part of the family. lOve, Nic
