It's actually sad, I think, that we go to Yellowstone so often that I really don't take many pictures any more. What is wrong with me? Like the coolest, most beautiful place in the world and I don't take the time to get pictures? These are the only two I took during a whole day at Yellowstone. Notice the elk bedded down behind the kids?
Grandma loving holding a baby again. Maybe that's where I get it. I adore him! I slept for a month sitting up either in bed or on the couch so I could hold him all night. I just can't get enough. The kids in West. Grandpa threw a fit because I asked him to stop by this buffaloe to take thier pics. Turned out great. NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA! Told ya gramps! (or should I call you grumps?) :) Cooper at his happiest camping!
The area out back behind grandpas place in Island Park got plenty of water, we couldn't keep Cooper away from the hose. Every time we couldn't find him, that is where he would be. Pretty, isn't it? They have had several grizzly and black bear sightings this year.
Courtland leaving for girls camp-yep-she's a teenager. Just look at her face-was thrilled to death that I wanted a picture of her leaving. Can you just hear her saying, "OK mom, are you through? I need to go! People are looking at you. " Priceless. (by the way, she had a blast and made two new best friends!)
Monday night movie at the park with our great friends-the kesters! (maylee is sure she is going to marry James when she grows up) We always had so much fun-thanks guys!
The kids at the horse parade.
Court and Maylee had the bright idea to cover him with stickers. Why? Who knows. No end to the fun at our house. LOL! Cooper in Heber at a great burger stop. LOves, loves, loves, trains!

I've decided to catch up from the summer of non-blogging. We have been so busy that I just haven't taken the time to post. So catch your breath, here are pics from some of our summer adventures.
Getting bigger!

For those of you who haven't seen it, here is our lot. It's a lonely piece of land that we imagine ourselves living on. Has a great view as it is up on the mountainside. It boarders a park if you can see it in the back. Now it just needs our house on it. We have our plans for the house finalized, we just need to start it. Scott just found a couple of lots closer to where we are now so he put the lot up for sale. It is wierd to think after planning for 2 years to build on this lot that now we are going to possibly be somewhere else. I guess we'll see-the kids are happy- they (especially Court) want to stay in the same schools as thier friends. We'll keep you posted!
Max and Maylee had some "daddy time" this week, they went hiking and got to see the sunset.
He looks like a Thompson but is definitely his own person. His hair is browner and lighter than the other kids when they were born. We'll see if he deviates from the strawberry blonde or not.
The family at the hospital. Cooper was far more interested in causing trouble than seeing the baby. It has continued being a fight between the rest of the kids on whos turn it is to hold the baby.

Here he is! These were taken in the first hour-what a blessing he is!
Max singing at kindergarten graduation. How do they grow up so fast?
Max chose to go bowling for his birthday. We met our great friends the Kenningtons there and had a great time. Max loved helping Cooper -that is until Coop figured out what to do and didn't want any more help. The last pic is of Coops victory cheer. The kids bowled much better than Scott and I. I have to say that it is not easy to bowl when you are nine months pregnant, your center of gravity is off or something. I'm sure it was at least comical to watch!

I am going to update the last month and a half:

It was freezing outside and Cooper wanted to go out with Maylee, so she gave him one of her sweatshirts and her slippers. Of course he added the "pack-pack" himself. Crazy kids.
Court at a game- she is getting better and better. I'm starting to see a little temper once in a while during her games, especially if I am yelling. She's too much like me...
He is finally here!! 7 lbs 9 oz and healthy, all that we could ask for!
